Colored glass mirror tile is HAVING A QUALITY ISSUE WITH HOLES IN THE SILVER BACKING AND IS SOLD AS IS. SEE PHOTOS. These places can be cut out if you are using pieces. The silver backing is covered with an epoxy coating to protect it. The glass is actually colored (for the non-metallic colors) instead of being a cheap surface coating. I've been meaning to do a red shot for a while and when I saw this by Opus104, I decided that black had to be the background. Strobist info - Objects sat on black acrylic sheet with a black background held in place by a diy background holder made of a clothes rail. Canon 430ez on 1/2 power firing into a large softbox to camera left. Piece of white paper to camera right to provide fill in. Developed in lightroom with some burning and the frame added in photoshop.
