These are box beams made with the outside skins of 150 year old Hand Hewn beams. These are not faux beams made with new wood made to look old. Using Vintage reclaimed beam material to make our box beams gives them a look that is hard to telll them apart from a real 150 year old hewn beam.

The facade is clad with 600 recycled cable reels. According to Jongert, "It took about seven minutes to dismantle each one, yielding quite a lot of wood each time." The wood was heat-treated at high temperatures, a natural weatherproofing technique.
