I've enjoyed seeing it laying around on a chair or bed, but since a friend of mine is soon to be a grandma for the first time, I thought it might make a nice quilt for her to either use or pass on to her son and daughter-in-law. Here it is in the bottom left of the photo…

Since quilting is my solution to almost everything, I made a quilt, an effort to combat my spring-deprived state. Pairing gray 2.5-inch squares with ones in gold, orange, blue, navy, and green, I made a scrappy version of my Ridiculously Easy Jelly…

My self-imposed ban on blog reading and posting is over as Lent ends tonight. I was only posting finishes on my blog, since this is my way of keeping track of what I've done and, more importantly, when. I missed reading about everyone's quilting adventures, but it was good for me to stop for a bit. As with most of us, the mask making continues. In between making masks, I worked on this scrappy quilt using 2 1/2" squares. As those who follow me know, I do not enjoy making scrappy quilts and…

I have had a lot of people asking me how I am keeping my scraps under control. They know I'm not big on having LOTS of scraps around. I have a small home and studio space so I have to work very smart. I can't keep lots of bins of scraps.. and honstly i don't want to. I love NEW FABRIC... so my scraps are little treasures.. but treasures that need to be USED. First I do not keep tons of scraps. I enjoy what Joan Ford told me, she only keeps so much then she makes quilts with it....
