I made this cake for Thomas, who was turning 6. My second attempt at a pirate ship cake (and much improved if I do say so myself!!) It was Devil's Food Cake with white chocolate buttercream and milk chocolate ganache. The steps and island are made of LCM bars.

The ship is made of rice crispy treats covered in fondant. Details are hand molded of fondant and chocolate. The only thing this isn't edible is the wooden masts. I was proud of this one!
