Fluff fruit salads are a holiday and potluck staple loved by many. I tweaked a recipe to create this super light and delicious Pink Cherry Fluff Salad, using half of the traditional amount of cottage cheese than usual. The result is a soft and light dessert with endless variations depending on what flavor Jell-O you choose and what fruit you put on top. It makes a great dessert recipe to be enjoyed by all the family.

The original recipe for this was called "Champagne Salad". I changed it because I leave out the bananas and pecans as my kids don't care for them. If you wish to include them, add 2 diced bananas and 1 cup chopped pecans. I place this in cupcake liners (the foil kind) and freeze on a cookie sheet until solid and then place in a freezer bag. This makes portioning easy. The title says salad but this is realy more of a dessert.

Cherry pie filling is combined with crushed pineapple, pecans, sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping in this salad to serve chilled as part of a Thanksgiving menu.

This easy, summer-friendly dessert will take you back to your childhood filled with Jello.

I could eat the whole bowl by myself! This is a great recipe for those who don't like Jell-O since you use it dry and it gives a totally different texture than traditional Jell-O salads. Hint: if you use orange flavored Jell-O use mandarin oranges instead of pineapple.
