JOSE RIZAL -=- Jose Rizal is the Philippines' National Hero. A novelist known for Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. He was a proponent of achieving Philippine self-government peacefully. He was executed by the Spanish on December 30, 1896 which triggered the Philippine Revolution.
