When it comes to merrymaking, few towns in America can hold a holiday candle to Kennebunkport.

yes, i will add a description: this is Bar Harbor Maine street at 07:45 or so sunday morning. i hiked down to great meadow with images of grand landscapes and beautiful sky color in mind as the forecast predicted it, but it was a bust, so i threw out the plan and just went looking. have a nice day.

I had just enough time to get onto the Cribstone Bridge this morning to see the moon setting behind the Garrison Cove Lobster Wharf. This usually busy port is complete blocked in with ice at the moment, so no lobster boats were seen. What a winter we've been having! This is of course next to the famous Cook's Lobster House.

Photographer Mark Fleming captured some of our favorite spots in Ogunquit, Maine, and proved that the summer destination is just as pretty in winter.
