Since the day I was born, I've always had two closets: mine and my identical twin sister's. To this day, I still borrow (and, okay, sometimes steal) pieces from her wardrobe and vice versa. For me, the daily recurring question is: jeans or a dress? Lately, though, I've been adding another option to the query: Leather pants. Popular with my peeps, leather pants (faux, vegan, you name it!) effect luxe but laid back. They're cut more like trousers or even jeans--but definitely not tight leggings. Tropical Storm Elsa didn't stop me from dressing up for lunch at La Goulue yesterday--although the rain did add an unfortunate rumpled effect! Oh, well, what's a little water, especially when the dress cost me $30! I also packed these under $200 beauties from Asos, English Factory, Faithfull the Brand, and En Saison. Happy weekend, all!

I identify as a New Yorker (and always will!) but I moonlight as a native Angeleno in my car. I'm know how to get across the 405 during rush hour, am fluent in yellow-curb restrictions--and can get dressed for a black tie in the back seat. All of which may explain my deep appreciation for Blanca Miro Scrimieri's aptitude for "car-fit" selfies. Somehow she makes her outfits and sitting in her car look thoroughly glamorous--a skill I have to yet to learn! At least I can sport some of the chic…

I feel like I just returned from a far, faraway planet, where everything is exactingly perfect from the saltiness of the sea to the zest of the fruit to the crimson sunset hues. This otherworldly place is the Balearic Islands. My first stop was Binibeca, Menorca, where we rented a whitewashed bohemian-chic villa, just steps from the ocean. Menorca is known to be the sleepiest of the Balearics, sprinkled with medieval port towns and sandy deserted beaches. We were anything but sleepy…
