I love to layer upon layer with my stitching. Sometimes it can be messy and chaotic, sometimes neat and structured, but it’s almost always an intuitive, organic process for me. The piece finds its way, it weaves and winds and takes me down unpredictable paths, a little like walking off-the-beaten-track not quite knowing where I am.
