She got her start as a Boyertown Multi-Alloy Merchantman back during the Cold War Era. The truck was built on top of a 1961 International Harvestor chassis. All of this made it incredibly unique even back then! She was eventually commissioned by the Maine Civil Defense to act as a Mobile Feeding Unit during any local emergencies.

The ambulance is a 1962 International Harvester, Squad 8 is a 1956 GMC that was a Civil Defense Rescue originally painted White & Blue. I was on Squad 8 last call, the driver was in the wrong gear and the engine was over-revving and finally blew up.
