Dyring the Battle of Mygeeto, Galactic Marines were deployed with Commander Bacara to Mygeeto to capture the planet and cripple the Separatists control of the galaxy. When order 66 was issued the Galactic Marines were fighting alongside Bacara and Jedi Ki Adi Mundi and executed Mundi after he attempted to lead a charge towards the battle droids.
