Ingredients 

For the twists:
 • 1 puff pastry, rolled to 0.5 cm or 1/4 inch thickness 
 • 4 handfuls of mixed shredded cheese, I used 3 handfuls cheddar, and 1 handful parm cheese

1 egg, optional

For the garlic butter:
 • 3 tablespoons or 50 g butter, melted
 • 2-3 garlic cloves
 • A pinch of salt

A sprinkle of chopped parsley

Instructions 

1. Heat the oven at 190°C or 375°F. 

2. Evenly spread the cheese all over the puff pastry, and press it down using the rolling pin or your hands. Fold the pastry in half, then roll it again to 0.5 to 1 cm or 1/4 - 1/3 inch thick. 

3. Whisk 2 tablespoons water with an egg, the brush the pastry with the egg. Sprinkle flaky salt on top, more cheese, or everything bagel seasoning.
