The heck with manicures — dirty hands are the surest sign that spring and garden-fresh vegetables are in the offing. To that point, we would like to share some information that will help get your hands dirty, too.

To remove car grease or paint from your hands, pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt or sugar into your palms. Vigorously rub the mixture into your hands and between your fingers for several minutes, then wash it off with soap and water.
