As part of an ecological restoration of Indian Lake in the Bronx's Crotona Park completed in 2009, the lake was enlarged with the addition of a new stream bed that meanders through smaller ponds, under a new stone foot bridge in a classic 1950s design, and cascades into a small waterfall.
