Gods have been the explanation for everything that is happening in our world from the beginning of time. And we know of these Greek, Roman, Indian, Egyptian, Christian, Islamic, and other gods because they were such big parts of people’s lives that they were immortalized in various writings. And they still to this day are inspiration for contemporary creators.

German illustrator Jenny Jinya, known for her tearjerker comic strips, is back with a story on dog fights, which is not for the faint-hearted.

Owl Turd Comix by college senior Shenanigansen are funny and absurd. The Massachusetts-based artist began to post the comic strips in his sophomore year and picked the website name one late night because it was cheap. Shen, the comic's protagonist, is loosely based on Shenanigansen and often voices the cartoonist's unspoken thoughts.

I try to give a voice to the victims with my comics. I want the affected pets to be able to tell their own stories. I hope I can raise awareness this way.”

When student and illustrator from Germany, Jenny Jinya, went viral for her 'Good Boy' and 'Black Cat' comics, she could've turned both of those stories into their own series. However, she took a different route. One that's more socially responsible.
