The other species of cicada I saw on Barro Colorado island, Panama. When newly metamorphosed it is similar in appearance to the first species, but there are a few differences like eye colr, size, body hair, head shape, etc... This species maintains prettier colors afterwards in comparison to the duller tones on the first species.

This is another bug I spotted in the Jungles of Cambodia and capture with the macro focus feature of my camera. This bug has amazing colors.

Picasso Bug (Sphaerocoris annulus):This is an insect native to Cameroon, Ivory Coast and the African continent southwards to Zimbabwe and South Africa. The bug's incredibly artistic markings are of course the reason for its quite appropriate common name. Photograph taken by Bart Wursten.

Be wary of brightly colored insects. The bright colors are normally a warning sign that they are poisonous.
