Brigit, Brigid or Bríg (/ˈbrɪdʒɪd, ˈbriːɪd/, Old Irish Irish pronunciation: [ˈbʲɾʲiʝidʲ]; meaning 'exalted one') was a goddess of pre-Christian Ireland.
