Kundalini Breath of Fire (Agni Pran) is a foundational breathing practice of Kundalini Yoga. This pranayama technique is a rhythmic flow of air moving in and out of the nostrils with equal emphasis on the flow. The inhale and exhale are alternative, and each is done with the same rhythm. The same inhale and exhale is done fast, moving the belly out (while inhaling) and in (while exhaling), allowing the air through the nostrils.

This intense breathing technique should be avoided if you are pregnant, struggle with vertigo, or have high blood pressure BUT it is wonderful for anyone in chronic pain, people trying to build their inner core strength, students needing to invigorate their minds and those of us with anxiety or depression.
