This was also the first time I had seen this species. There was a single Sea-lion amongst a group of New Zealand Fur seals at Cape du Couedic on Kangaroo Island. You can also walk on a beach of Sea-lions at Seal Bay. Australian Sea Lion at Hopkins Island, South Australia Sea Lions are Pinnipeds that is the same family as Seals and Walrus, but not exactly the same. They are also mammals. This SeaLion is endemic to Australia, that is it is only found in Australia. They are particularly found in South Australia and Western Australia.
