Here is the first panel of the set of three panels for the Amish Farm Scene. I posted the third panel in January and wasn't sure I had the other two. And I do!! Yeah! So here is the first panel and I'll post the center panel tomorrow.

I have always wanted to have the time to due a full panel cross-stitch pattern like this one. It was originally published in three panels in three different publications. I believe I have them all and will be searching through my collection for the other two sections of this panel. But even if I don't, this panel alone is still a work of art!

The original design for this piece comes from the Cross Stitch and Country Crafts magazine in 1987. It ran over three issues from May of 1987 to October of 1987. It is from the magazine's Collector's Series and while the article does state the design for this piece was inspired by artist, Charles Wysocki, it does not tell us who the cross stitch piece(s) designer was. When I first started to scan my old vintage cross stitch patterns, they weren't in any particular order. So I am trying now to make sure that if a piece is part of a set, that I find all of the parts to the set. I had already post the second hen in this set of three. And here is hen number one!
