Agnes Williams, Botanical Artist

Agnes Williams (1860-1946), a watercolorist from Bucks Co., PA, collaborated with Emma Roberts of Minneapolis to create a wildflower watercolor portfolio during the 1880s and 1890s. At the age of 77, Agnes married Emma’s brother, Thomas Sadler Roberts, who was known as the “Father of Minnesota Ornithology”. The Andersen Horticultural Library has a collection of original watercolors painted by Agnes Williams.
