Palacete | Moremas, more-co
Palacete @ Madrid, Spagna - 2013 - The hexagons vary in size and are cut into the surface, sometimes perforating the material completely and communicating visually and acoustically with the other side. The result is a reinterpretation of traditional Arabic architecture using new technologies and modern materials.

Perforated Weathering Steel
Weathering steel, also called corten metal, is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of copper, nickel and other corrosion resistant elements. Weathering steel is developed to eliminate the need for painted steel and to ensure that the steel will form a stable rust-like appearance even if the elements are exposed outdoors for a long time.
