The Altar of Incense Also known as the "golden altar" or the "inner altar," this three foot high altar was the location of regular incense offerings. Every morning and evening when tending the light of the menorah, the priests would offer a mixture of frankincense and other aromatic gums. On the Day of Atonement, the high priest would sprinkle blood on the horns of this altar. http://www.fivefoldministryireland.com

Before calvary only the high priest was allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies in the temple (which represented the presence of God) and it was separated from the people by a very thick curtain .The first thing that happened immediately after Jesus yielded up his spirit was that this same curtain was torn into two from top to buttom declaring that all people shall have constant access to the father and the throne room through Jesus Christ. Brazen Altar. Upon entering the gate into the Tabernacle area, one encountered the Brazen Altar, where he was to present his animal offering, and then hand the reigns over to the priests, who make atonement and intercession for him in the tent. The priests atoned for their sins through a sacrifice at the brazen altar, but they cleansed themselves at the laver before serving in the Holy Place, so that they would be pure and not die before a holy God.

The High Priest at the Table of Shewbread. In a biblical or Jewish context, shewbread refers to the cakes or loaves of bread which were always on a specially dedicated table, in the Temple in Jerusalem as an offering to God. An alternative, and more appropriate, translation would be presence bread, since the Bible requires that the bread be constantly in the presence of God (Exodus 25:30). Jesus christ, though God from eternity, became a man in order to suffer death and serve as our High Priest (Hebrews 2:9). Jesus is greater than any other priest, so He is called our “Great High Priest” in Hebrews 4:14, and that gives us the boldness to come “unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16) Read more "What does it mean that Jesus is our High Priest?" http://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-High-Priest.html Humour, Teatro, Exodus, Verse, Scripture
