Václav Cigler, one of the leading personalities of the artistic generation of the 1960s, who very soon crossed the boundaries of the traditionally conceived glass-making and decided to head towards installations and realizations in architecture, exhibits his intimate as well as monumental works on the entire grounds of the château. Ciglerʼs oeuvre is one of the earliest examples of the nascent contemporary artistic expressions of the latter half of the 20th century (minimalism, land art).

The summer cultural life of Prague, a city closely linked with the professional career and life of the musical genius W. A. Stanislav Libenský is considered as the most outstanding Czech glasswork artist and pedagogist. His works created in collaboration with Jaroslava Brychtová are presented in museums and galleries all over the world. Besides his work, he was teaching at Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and he was a director and pedagogist the School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Železný Brod where he lived and worked for the majority of of his life.
