Paul Newman in New York, 1956. When I lived in NYC I ran into so many famous people walking the streets. Most people do not recognize them out of context. I saw Ruth gordon, Woody Allen, Tony Bennitt to name a few.
Paul Newman...JFK-LAX on a DC-10 or 747 back in 1979...quiet man who asked me to get him a "cold one" and keep them coming and requested not to be bothered as he was still mourning the loss of his son. Those were the days when passengers could move from cabin to cabin and ask for autographs. I'll never forget his kindness towards me, his voice and those gorgeous blue eyes.
