In Egyptian mythology we learn the story of Isis and Osiris. Born from the Earth and the Sky, Isis and Osiris were brother and sister as well as lovers. After he was killed by his brother, Isis brings Osiris back to life long enough to conceive his child. This myth has a lot of similarities to the story of Rhea and Kronos.
