Design No. 661 from "THE BUNGALOW BOOK" BY HENRY WILSON (1910). Swiss chalet-style bungalows are characterized by widely projecting roofs of medium pitch and balconies and porches with pierced patterns between the vertical boards as seen in No. 661. The balconies project and are supported by ornate paired brackets. On the facade of this house, there is an inset dormer with an arch that "contributes materially to the Swiss appearance."
Downspout runoff can cause flooding around the foundation of your house and lead to foundation damage and wood rot. These common problems can be prevented and fixed with a NDS catch basin set under the downspout to catch the water and divert it away from the foundation of your home.
