I love Miss Marple because she embraces her age with style and flair and tells us real women that it's ok to allow nature to take it's course. Ladies, you can Botox till your ears disappear but I bet you'd love to just let go.....relax about the odd grey hair and the extra few pounds.

I preferred the more delicate lacy attire of Geraldine McEwan who appeared as Miss Marple (2004 to 2009), the Agatha Christie sleuth. ("Miss Marple" by fashionmefabulous ❤ liked on Polyvore)
Dame Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple. Oh--it's all cliche after cliche and she mugs terribly --yet, there is a lighthearted skepticism here about human character that keeps each pot in the series warm, but not boiling.

Joan Hickson was the 5th Miss Marple starring in BBC series from 1984 - 1992 (3 seasons - 8 years) Born in Northhampton Aug. 1906 - 1998 (I've been watching her on WETA lately and I can't say she's my favorite but I love all the Miss Marple movies)
