The March 2011 nuclear disaster at Fukushima, Japan was a man made disaster after a natural disaster, an earthquake, took place and caused the collapse of man made nuclear reactions which devastated Japan.

Tadami, Aizu, Fukushima The town is located in the mountainous area, thus providing numerous great panoramic views. Besides mountains and lakes, two rivers – Ina and Tadami – pass by. The latter features a railway bridge, which is part of the famous Tadami Line. The location is especially beautiful in winter. The snowfall in Aizu is one of the heaviest in Japan, therefore forests and slopes get covered in a thick layer of snow, thus creating this spectacular site.
