PITTA DOSHA DINNER - Peas Potatoes and Rice - Heat 2tbsp oil. Add 1tsp cumin seeds & 1 bay leaf. Once stops spluttering, add 1 chopped large onion and saute till translucent. Add 1 large chopped tomato and wait to soften. Add 1tsp turmeric, 1/2tsp salt.Cook for a minute. Add 3 large diced russet potatoes. Reduce heat to low. Add 1/4c water, cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes, till the potatoes are cooked through. Add 1c peas. Cover and cook for another ten minutes. Serve hot with rice.
