the tiny seed
Farmyard sensory play using whatever grains, seeds and bits we could find : ) This one has rice, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, oats, tiny pasta shells, coffee granules, grass and stones. Throw in some farm animals and a tractor (or quad bike in our case!) and play. Little lady enjoyed this outside in the sunshine so eventually most of it ended up being transported around the garden in buckets. Adventures with Isla-Brae
peas, beans, pumpkins, sunflowers, grass, a succulent and some assorted foliage. We used tiny clay pots for our grass and community pots for the other plants. We recorded our garden growth in our Garden Journals We even ATE some of our peas! I used a small magnifying box to showcase the different types of seeds. We included "Garden Waterer" as part of our job list for the class.
