146K views · 27K reactions | Line checks might not seem glamorous, but they’re one of the most important things we do to set up for a great service. Here’s why they matter: 1. Keeps the Gremlins Out 🧙♂️🎚️: Line checks catch hums, crackles, and weird noises before they ever make it into the mix. 2. Finds Problems Early 🔍⚡: A bad cable or a missing signal? Better to fix it now than scramble later. 3. Saves Time (and Stress) ⏰😌: When we solve technical issues before rehearsal, we can focus on worship—not troubleshooting. 4. Builds Team Chemistry 🤝🎶: These moments help us connect the band and crew, building trust and unity. 5. Lays a Strong Foundation 🏗️🎤: A solid line check sets us up for an easy rehearsal and a smooth service. 6. Makes Monitors Better 🎧😎: Good inputs = good monitor mixes = more engaged worship leaders. 7. Supports Worship, Not Distraction 🙌✨: When the worries of tech aren’t on your mind, you can freely worship through your offering. Focus on the Who - not the what. Line checks might seem small, but they’re the behind-the-scenes glue that holds everything together. And hey, it’s a great chance to connect with your team before the day kicks into gear! 💪🎛️ | Bradley Bramer | Facebook

Aubrey Whitfield on Instagram: "This is a brilliant mixing technique that you'll hear all over the charts. It doesn't work for every track, but it does work for those tracks that are a little slower or have longish gaps between vocal phrases. The attack and release are very important as they determine how obvious it is that the reverb is being pushed down with the vocal sings (attack) and how quickly the reverbs swells up and down in those gaps (release) so tweak them to get the best sound for you. **You can get the preset I used in this video 'Massive EDM Vocal' from my Valhalla Vintage Verb pack available from my online store at www.aubreywhitfield.com/store or via the link in my bio ------- #musicproducer #musicproducerlife #musicproducerstudio #mixing #mixingengineer #reverb #fabfil
