Hamburger Helper
I’ve now tried the infamous hamburger helper enough times to give my twist on it and here we are!! My fellow Brits, I’d describe it as the classic Red Boxed Cheesy Pasta but will minced beef added. I was inspired by a lot of components in the New York Times version. It’s proper comfort food and comes together so easily all in the same pot. Let me know if you give it a go 😄 Enjoy! Chris x

this RASPBERRY CHIA PUDDING is a game changer for digestion (meal prep breakfast!)🍓💩✨! #SiggisPartner ingredients: 2 cups frozen raspberries 2 cups almond milk 3 tbsp maple syrup 3/4 cup chia seeds 2 cups @siggisdairy plant-based yogurt how to: 1. Blend raspberries, almond milk and maple syrup in a blender until smooth. 2. Pour into a large meal prep container then add chia seeds and yogurt. Mix well. 3. Refrigerate overnight and enjoy for up to 4-5 days! It’s so hard to find plant-based yogurt thats a good source of protein AND calcium, that’s why I am obsessed with Siggi’s. I buy the one that only has 4 grams of sugar and I get mine at Whole Foods. Also - it’s THICK + creamy which makes it sooo beyond yummy.

How to make carbonara
All you need: 4 eggs • 4 oz Parmesan cheese or Pecorino • 4 oz Guanciale, pancetta or bacon • Salt to taste • Pepper to taste • 1 tbsp Olive oil 1/2 lb Spaghetti 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain set aside and drizzle with olive oil (save 2 cups of pasta water for later) • 2. Dice meat, then saute on medium heat until crispy and fat has rendered • 3. Whisk eggs in a bowl until no streaks remain, then add grated cheese, pepper and a few tbsp of the rendered fat from the meat • 4. Stir well until a nice thick paste is formed • 5. In a room temperature pan, add cooked pasta, a laddle of pasta water plus the egg and cheese mixture • 6. Mix well nonstop for at least 2 minutes or until sauce starts to get creamy • 7. Continue to add pasta water
