it wasn’t jess’ fault he crashed. i know lorelai was mad that rory was in the hospital but she said horrible things about jess. she was being incredibly self-centered by saying luke had an “obligation” to the town that came before jess but jess was literally just a kid who had no parents who couldn’t survive on his own and needed a home. lorelai needed to shut up in this scene sorry not sorry.
