Setting up shadowboxes outside of resident rooms! Amazing for way finding AND a great discussion piece for staff and residents alike. Instead of filling the boxes with random stuff, find a photo of each person when they were in their 20s or 30s.
Because they truly make such a difference for those living with dementia 🤍 This is a great start to a baby station! I highly recommend the Berenguer baby dolls from Amazon.
Don't also assume that they "don't like anything anymore," which is a quote I hear often. Instead, let's try something else...
