ASSESSMENT Oral Language: This rubric is a tool to assess oral presentation skills or the ability to “use speaking skills and strategies appropriately to communicate with different audiences for a variety of purposes” (OME, Language, p. 9). Students are assessed on the delivery, content, and organization of their presentation as well as their audience awareness. This tool is useful for providing students with descriptive feedback on which speaking skills they need to work on.
