Front Porch Summer Altar
Spruced up my wishes with this little summer altar I have facing my front door on the ol' porch. It's loaded with secret wishes. I love my big wooden root balls. (Lower left.) Birds nest, copal balls from Central America, hawaiian kukui nut strands, tibetan malas, gord bowl from Belizian friend, boga basket and mint weeds from last years pots.

thedarkest-of-lights: I put together this nice silver stand and got a wine glass and broke off the bottom and placed it in side the stand. I then proceeded to fill the cup with salt and made a crystal grid and a candle in the center.
My nod to Christmas and Yule...Icicles to come.
Using cheapie bits from here and there. The little white trees are from Walmart...$2 for the big one and $1 for the littler ones. Everything else is from the local junk shop, the dollar store, yard sales and gifted items. Still need to hang snowflakes for the reindeer. I had a great time dressing this shelf. Everyone was out for a while, so I made a cup of hot tea and put on my favorite big band and swing, and started playing.
