"This Christmas block makes an adorable gift for a friend, teacher, a holiday hostess gift or for yourself! Keep several on hand for those last minute gifts. The solid premium pine block measures approximately 9\" long, 3.25\" tall, and 1.25\" wide. I've used red chalk like paint for the background and white for the writing. The edges are slightly distressed and I've finished it off with a coat of soft poly. The end is tied with a red and cream gingham print ribbon with an attached jingle bell.
This tutorial will show you how I made these fun rustic homemade Christmas ornaments from some recycled tin cans and a few items from the Dollar Tree.
