The Kongamato
This picture may illustrate what many people have reportedly seen in Zambia, Angola and Congo. Named the Kongamato, it is described as being similar to a pterodactyl by members of the local Kaonde tribe after being shown pictures. Skeptics offer misidentified storks or huge bats as an explanation but, for over 200 years similar reports have come from eyewitnesses in the American Southwest, Cuba and Papua New Guinea.
