Ha! I used to make these with my preschoolers... put the grass seeds in the bottom of a nylon sock, fill with dirt, tie, and set it into some type of container that you keep filled with water. The "tail" of nylon left over when you tied it off will drink up the water. (I also sprayed mine with water...) so much fun!!
