The truth is, if you’re struggling to show up consistently for your workouts, it’s probably because the workouts you’re doing are not nourishing you *mentally* as well as physically. You won’t feel better about BE-ing who you are (and showing up for yourself) in an environment where the default perspective is that you *constantly* need to change to “look better.” In a body-affirming community, we do workouts for deeper reasons: to feel good, to care for our body, to learn to sit with intensity with grace. We see ourselves as already whole and worthy - today, right now. Our milestones are more qualitative and functional, and our success is not only how much stronger we are, but how much more compassionate we are towards ourselves and others.
