102K views · 2.7K reactions | #Homemade Heath Bar is my new fav 😁 Seriously y’all gotta #try #heathbar #toffee #candymaking #candy #b #food #foodie #foodporn #instafood... | By Kitchentool | Heath bar. Yep. A homemade heathbar. You know that English butter toffee with little bits of almonds covered in some chocolate. It's so good and it's only a few ingredients. But let me show you how to make it. In a saucepan add one stick of butter. That's a half of a cup. And a half of a cup of sugar. Next add two tablespoons of water. A pinch of salt. Turn your heat to medium high and mix this up until the butter and sugar is melted down and it starts to bubble. This may take just a couple minutes. And once your butter starts to bubble, do not stir anymore. Use a candy thermometer because you want to reach 300 degrees Fahrenheit. This may take about ten, even 15 minutes. And while you wait for that to come to temperature, go ahead and get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or just butter it really well. And when you reach 300 degrees, turn off your heat, remove it from the heat and add in a half a teaspoon of vanilla. Mix it up. Now add in two tablespoons of finely chopped almonds. Mix it up. Now pour it into your pan. Just like that. Now allow it to cool for about 5 minutes. And after about five minutes it's kind of set. So now you want to get a butter knife and butter it. And then just score it. You want to make the scores as big or little as you want your candy bars to be. Once you have scored all your toffee allow it to cool for about another 20 minutes. Whenever it dries you're going to be able to just snap it in half. And after 20 minutes the toffee has set. Just break your toffee into bars. Get some melted chocolate. Take your toffee bars and dip it. Drip it. And put it on your pan. And just keep doing this with all your toffee bars. Dip it. Drip it. And put it on your pan. Just like that. Now allow the chocolate to set for about 15, 20 more minutes. And put them in the freezer if you're impatient like me. And once the chocolate has set. This is how they look. Mhm. It's that easy y'all. Homemade.

I have long loved this @finecookingmag recipe for brownies — truly, it is the only brownie recipe I have made for well over a decade. ⁣ They didn’t, however, consistently emerge with that desirable, shiny, paper-thin crackly crust. About a month ago, I reached out to my newsletter readers for help and they pointed me to an @bravetart article that helped tremendously. ⁣(I miss Stella Parks!) ⁣ In sum, this is what has made a difference: ⁣ ⁣ ✅ Melting the butter and sugar sufficiently and beating the two together until they are nearly emulsified — it should look like wet sand.⁣ ⁣ ✅ Beating the eggs for about a minute until they get foamy and slightly thick, about a minute.⁣ ⁣ ✅ Whisking the butter-sugar mixture really well into the eggs before adding the dry ingredients.⁣ ⁣ The recipe is linked in profile 🤗⁣ ⁣ #brownies #cocoa #shiny #fudgy #rich | Alexandra Stafford | alexandracooks · Original audio

658K views · 11K reactions | Monkeybread | Today I am making Reece's Cup Monkey bread! You have to try it! | By Shareable Recipes | We're doing? Today, we're going to make Reese's Cup Monkey Bread. Reese's Cup Monkeybread. We're going to cut our biscuits in half. Just using my kitchen scissors. These are not allowed in the garage. Flatten it out and put a Reese's cup in the center. This is going to go in our bun pan. More good, doesn't it? Three quarters of a cup of melt just plain melted butter and three/ 4 a cup of brown sugar together. Alright, and then I'm just going to pour this over. Alright. Now, I've got a preheated 325 degree oven. I'm going to pop this in for approximately 50 minutes or until it it gets golden brown around the edges. We're we're going to go ahead and mix up the peanut butter glaze. So, use a half a cup of melted peanut butter. Two cups of confectioner sugar. Heating. Half a cup of milk. Done. Uh look at that golden brown. Then now we're going to let it cool for 10 minutes. Been 10 minutes. So I'm just going to take a spatula and run along the edges. Carameled up. Oh my goodness. Now, we're going to add our peanut butter glaze that we made earlier. Settle down, mister. Come on now. Let's go. Oh my gosh. Look at that. Mom and dad are going to love it. There you go. Let's give this thing a whirl. Gonna get you a piece of it. You bet. What's it called? Monkeybread. Reese's Cup Monkeybread. Recipes Monkeybread. Good stuff. Hit it. Yep. Very good. That's awesome. So you won. Give me another piece of two. I don't know what I wanted coffee with but. They might. No, no. Oh that is good. Nailed it. You betcha. That's it. Yup, you nailed it. That is day number one.
