Carrot Cake Oatmeal-1 serving- 1/3 cup quick cooking steel cut oats 3/4 cup water 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon pinch of nutmeg {optional} 3 tablespoons julienne carrot 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts Directions: Place steel cut oats, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, carrot and maple syrup into a large bowl and stir. Microwave 3 minutes. Stir and top with walnuts and more maple syrup and cinnamon, if desired.
