sometimes i do strange things...
CANNING VEGETABLE SOUP: made easy! A variety of veggies was used: potatoes, tomatoes, corn, green beans, peas, zucchini, lima beans and carrots. the veggies are added fresh, with no liquid, as they make their own broth. we pressure canned for 45 minutes and they will last at least one year. :)
Country Soup in a Jar
Country Soup in a Jar | 1/2 c barley, 1/2 c dried split peas, 1/2 c dry lentils, 2 Tbsp dried minced onion, 2 Tbsp dried parsley, 2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp lemon pepper, 2 Tbsp beef bouillon granules, 1/2 c uncooked alphabet pasta, 1 c uncooked twist macaroni. Add contents of jar to 3 quarts of water, 2 stalks of chopped celery, 2 sliced carrots, 2 cups diced tomatoes, and 2 cloves garlic, minced.
