How I memorized BIOCHEM for the MCAT
This is hands down my FAVORITE MCAT Study tip in general because it helps me memorize super well! For a lot of the MCAT it’s important to truly understand the concepts and not just use rote memorization, but for other things rote memorization is exactly what you need! ⁣ How I like to memorize concepts like these: ⁣ ➊ Look at the pathway ⁣ ➋ Try to write the whole pathway (without peaking) on a blank piece of paper ⁣ ➌ Check your work and start over if you didn’t get 100%⁣ Rinse, wash, repeat! ⁣ I first did this process to memorize just the intermediates, then once I had every step of that down, I added in memorizing the enzymes, then once I had that down, I would just practice writing it all from scratch as many days as needed to solidify it/make sure I didn’t forget it. ⁣
