This is a king-size bed that has been lofted, to create space for an eating area underneath. Great idea for small apartments/homes. For privacy, you could easily hang a shortened curtain in front of the bed. You could also install a few small shelves in lieu of nightstands. The only problem with this - hope the inside partner doesn't have to get up in the middle of the night!!!
