R 61 Julian the Apostate

Emperor (361 - 363 AD), philosopher and author. His father Julius Constantius was half - brother of Constantine I and was executed in 337 BC. His mother, Bithyan noble named Basilina died and Julian raised by his grandmother as an Christian. Under Emperor Constantius II Julian ruled Gaul in 355 AD and succesfully controled Germanic tribes. Julian became Emperor in 361 AD. He was converted to paganism adorating God Helios in the age of 20. During campaign against Sassanian Empire, Julian died.
