Nesting area of our hay wagon chicken tractor chicken coop. We use 5 gallon buckets to provide nesting boxes which are well sized and easy to clean. Each bucket can be removed and throughly cleaned and sanitized when necessary. Having shelves above the nesting boxes provides for easy and close storage for extra feed and bedding materials. The lower left shows the top of our dust bathing bucket constructed from a plastic tote and filled with sand it provides a great place for the chickens…
Chicken feeder...great idea, could use a small container, like a bucket from the hardware store

Inside our chicken coop. The buckets make it an easy clean up, and the slanted roof prevents hens from nesting on top of the boxes.
